Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from music bloggers and the media. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an attic piano and being awed by the sounds it would produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to use music for development of her own, not for the purpose of making money or to pursue an interest. To achieve this she wrote her first original compositions. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. In response to her mother's suggestions that she ought not to aim at achieving fame through her songwriting, but instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. When she was six She began playing the piano, and when she was nine was writing music. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she was fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. According to her, she simply likes to write songs. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
